Unity Day - Kindness, Acceptance and Inclusion

Team building, walks, signing declarations and more. Wearing orange is a way to signify being together against bullying, and united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. This year, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 was the day of celebration.

Early College Career Academy dressed in orange shirts, sweatshirts and ties.

Sanford Street Teaching & Learning Center in Glens Falls held fun activities for students and spent time learning about inclusion and respecting one another.

Southern Adirondack Education Center celebrated by having their annual unity walk at the track. They set up areas for fun activities such as a photo booth, signing of the No Place For Hate pledge, a table for students to create a chain of kindness and the culinary students made "orange" food options to acknowledge the day.

The F. Donald Myers Center celebrated by wearing orange to show unity with each other. They too signed an anti-bully pledge that is displayed in the hallway.
