WSWHE BOCES CTE Program would like to welcome, and introduce, the new Technical & Trades Services Instructor, Jeff Piscitelli. A former Automotive Technology Program student at the Myers Center, Jeff states, "The program greatly influenced me and really helped give me direction at a younger age."
Post-secondary, Jeff continued his education in the field and graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Automotive Technology. After graduation, he began his career at Honda where he worked for the past 7 years until the opportunity to be a CTE instructor presented itself.
Jeff is excited to be back at the Myers Center engaging with students, "One goal that I have set for myself for the program is to get the students ready for the workforce and teach them what to expect in an entry level trade position. Work ethic is hard to come by at times for entry level trade positions and I'm really hoping to help them understand that the right work ethic will help them excel in the field."
Technical and Trades Services is a Service Level career exploration program designed to introduce students to various CTE programs and corresponding careers available to them, while emphasizing the development of soft skills and the world of work.
