Combining academic programs with real hands-on learning, Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides its students with many different paths to the future. Some go on to college, others go right into a career. All have started to achieve the occupational and 21st Century skills so important in building a successful life and career.
The F. Donald Myers Education Center inducted 77 members into the National Technical Honor Society on May 2, 2024. The ceremony was held at Maple Ave Middle School.
The Southern Adirondack Education Center (SAEC) inducted 88 members into the National Technical Honor Society on April 30, 2024. The ceremony was held at Queensbury High School.
CTE and ECCA students participated in the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Championships and several returned with Champion titles in their respective fields.
Employment Training for Adults (ETA), a division of WSWHE BOCES, hosted their annual Women in Trades event on March 27, 2024 in Wilton, NY. Nearly 50 guests were in attendance to “Continue the Conversation of Empowering Women in the Trades.”
