Chef Maureen Clancy's Culinary Arts students treated a local women's group to a Valentine's Day demonstration at Longfellows restaurant in Saratoga Springs on February 13. The morning class prepared a platter of about 8 dozen cookies, mini cupcakes, chocolate truffles and dipped fruit. Alan Lapelle, an adult CTE student, and Hannah Diehl of Schuylerville CSD demonstrated to the 80 attendees of the luncheon how to dip and decorate strawberries and pineapple. Each guest was given sample to bring home.

Chef Clancy said "the occasion was a nice opportunity for the students to practice in a real world situation."
